Author Guidelines

Scientific papers will be considered for publication is eligible and the following references:

 

  1. The article is an original work and has never been published in the journal of scientific or books.
  2. The number of pages between 18-20 for article 1.5 spaced on A4 size paper (21 cm x 29.7 cm) with font Times New Roman and Arabic new Time (for words of  Arabic) with size 12 fonts.
  3. Articles must include an abstract (150-200 words) in Indonesian, English, and keywords (3-6 words).
  4. Each foreign language and regional languages, in addition to names of people and places, and that has not been absorbed and standard in Indonesian is written in italics (italic);  specifically the Arabic word written italic font Times New Arabic and following the guidelines of transliteration.
  5. Posts emailed kodifikasia@iainponorogo.ac.id in the form of document files and accompanied by the author's name, institution of origin, email address, and No. Tlp./HP.
  6. Using reference management (zotero, mendeley, endnote etc.).
  7. Technical writing footnotes follow the rules as follows:
    • Footnotes for citations from books; author's name, book title, (publisher's city: publisher's name, year of publication), and page number. Example: Zainal Arifin, Pengembangan Manajemen Mutu Kurikulum Pendidikan Islam, (Yogyakarta: Diva Press, 2012), 15
    • Footnotes for excerpts from the compilation book containing the name of the editor (ed.) / (Eds.), Book title, (publisher city: publisher name, year), and page number. Example:  Zainal Arifin, ed., Pengembangan Manajemen Mutu Kurikulum Pendidikan Islam, (Ponorogo: STAIN Po Press, 2012), 15.
    • Footnotes for citations from journals / magazines: author's name, year of publication, title in quotation marks, name of magazine / journal, issue number, date / month of publication (if any), and page number.
    • Example: M. Sahabudin, “Perilaku Keagamaan Kaum Waria Yogyakarta Kasus di Pondok Pesantren Waria “Senin-Kemis” Yogyakarta”,  Cendekia Vol 9 No. 2 (Agustus 2011), 300.
    • Footnotes for quotes from electronics:
    • Example:  Burka, Lauren P. “A Hypertext History of Multi-User Dimensions.” MUD History. 1993.http://www.utopia.com/talent/lpp/middex/essay, diakses 2 Agustus 1999.
    • Bibliography is written alphabetically by loading the name of the author, title of the book / journal / magazine, city of publication, name of publisher and year of publication. Example: Arifin, Zainal, Pengembangan Manajemen Mutu Kurikulum Pendidikan Islam, Yogyakarta: Diva Press, 2012.

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  2. The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  3. Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  4. The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  5. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  6. If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.
