Issues related to this topic are essential because the influence of movies is significant on students' character. Internalizing religious values in students requires effective media. One of them is film. This research employed a qualitative descriptive approach. This study analyzed the movie as a learning media. There are three results obtained in this study. First, factual issues of religious issues are used by film producers to gain economic benefits. Second, the religious values in the film can attract the public's attention to religious films. It is a form of commodification of religion in producing films. Third, there is a relevance between religious films and the internalization of Islamic education in higher education.
2024-07-01T21:58:28+07:00 Copyright (c) 2024 Lukman Hakim, Ayunda Riska Puspita, Luqman Bin Haji Abdullah https://jurnal.iainponorogo.ac.id/index.php/cendekia/article/view/8782 Issues of Professionality and Competency of Islamic Religious Education Teachers in Facing the Society 5.0 Era 2024-08-02T19:11:42+07:00 Nurdiyanto Nurdiyanto [email protected] Muhammad Thoriqul Islam [email protected] Nawa Marjany [email protected] Maslani [email protected] Hasbiyallah [email protected]
This research uncovers the Islamic religious education teachers’ professionalism and competence issues in the Society 5.0 era. The research employed the Systematic Literature Review method. Articles were obtained from national and international journals. Researchers chose 15 articles from hundreds of relevant articles in the last 5 years. Then, the researchers analyzed and tabulated the tabular data with the name of the researcher, year of publication, publisher, and research results. The research indicated that Islamic religious education teacher professionalism and competence were strongly supported by efforts to increase the education level, training, and teacher upgrading programs. In addition, teacher quality and professionalism needed to be improved through cluster activity centers, teacher working groups, and the Republic of Indonesia Teachers’ Association. It was also necessary to increase a work ethic based on service. The conclusion and implications of improving human resource competencies are developing students’ abilities. Ultimately, teachers will always be active and require self-regulation to overcome the industrial revolution toward a golden Indonesia in 2045.
2024-07-01T22:12:33+07:00 Copyright (c) 2024 Nurdiyanto Nurdiyanto, Muhammad Thoriqul Islam, Nawa Marjany, Maslani, Hasbiyallah https://jurnal.iainponorogo.ac.id/index.php/cendekia/article/view/7446 Analyzing the Brand Equity of Prospective Postgraduate Program of Islamic University 2024-08-02T19:11:42+07:00 Dhinuk Puspita Kirana [email protected] Andhita Dessy Wulansari [email protected]
This research focused on the brand equity assets of the Postgraduate of IAIN Ponorogo, precisely the perceived quality and brand association factors that affect consumer decisions. Hadi [email protected]
This study investigates meta-consciousness cultivation based on Islamic principles among Naval Academy cadets. These principles symbolize military virtues in society. The study explores integrating multicultural Islamic values into cadets and the subsequent internalization of these values in developing meta-consciousness. A qualitative approach focusing on phenomenological analysis was employed to address this issue by analyzing various textual and contextual sources. Data were obtained through in-depth interviews with several individuals in the Academy. In addition, the study investigated curriculum-related documents and educational programs. The collected data were thoroughly analyzed using data reduction, presentation, and deduction. The results were then compared with findings from related studies to validate the conclusions. This study obtained two primary findings. Firstly, the Academy perceived Islamic brotherhood as solidarity within a multicultural environment. This solidarity was described by three fundamental principles: self-regulation, tolerance, and ukhūwah. In our observation, the Academy provided immersive experiences while upholding professionalism, ethics, and reverence for diversity. It emphasized its dedication to nurturing a holistic comprehension and implementing multicultural Islamic values among its cadets. Secondly, this research found that the Academic embraced the instructional system design (ISD) framework to instill “meta” Islamic values in individual mindsets.
2024-07-01T21:27:28+07:00 Copyright (c) 2024 Imron Mustofa, Abd. The population of this research was all certified teachers in Madrasa Aliyah Ponorogo, Indonesia. The total sample involved was 276 certified teachers. This study employed the proportional stratified random sampling technique. The data were collected directly from respondents. The analysis in this study used Partial Least Square. The research findings reveal that OCBIP mediates the influence of Islamic leadership and workplace spirituality on teachers’ Islamic performance but fails to mediate the influence of innovative work behavior on teachers’ Islamic performance. Hence, the present study offers an essential contribution to the Islamic management literature by showing the mediating role of OCBIP in the relationship between leadership spirituality and performance, as well as providing practical insights for developing educational policies that are more holistic and with Islamic values.
2024-07-01T21:02:29+07:00 Copyright (c) 2024 Nur Rahmi Sonia, Sutiah, Wahidmurni, Soeharto https://jurnal.iainponorogo.ac.id/index.php/cendekia/article/view/9387 Habitualization of Pesantren Values as Social Capital in Building Moderate Islamic Education 2024-08-02T19:11:42+07:00 Ahmad Fauzi [email protected] Suheri [email protected] Bayu Fermadi [email protected]
This research aims to interpret the value system built by pesantren and its existence as social capital. It is believed to inspire, influence, and mobilize individual social actions and behavior in society. Thus, this research employed a qualitative approach through Pierre Bourdieu’s social practice theory regarding practice (action and behavior) as the outcome of the interaction between an individual’s habitus and available capital within a specific domain/field. It produces a grounded theory to provide a holistic and comprehensive understanding. This research practically shows some findings. First, pesantren values result from creating creative individuals based on the logic of thought and scientific genealogy of kiai based on their understanding of various Islamic texts, which then inspire the formation of a value system. Second, the existence of these values is made into a shared belief and transmitted within the pesantren institution so that, in the end, it becomes part of the pesantren tradition. Third, the habitualization of pesantren values is understood as social capital and can be used as a core value in building a moderate Islamic education model. So, it then shapes the character or attitude of tawassuth, tawāzun, tasāmuh, tahadhdhur, musāwah, i'tidāl, al-Islāh, tathawur wa Ibtikār, and shurā, according to the typology of each pesantren.
2024-07-03T09:11:54+07:00 Copyright (c) 2024 Ahmad Fauzi, Suheri, Bayu Fermadi https://jurnal.iainponorogo.ac.id/index.php/cendekia/article/view/9555 Exploring the Influence of Self-Competence and Islamic Boarding School Regulations on Student Character: The Mediating Role of Islamic Boarding School Culture 2024-08-02T19:11:42+07:00 Mamik Setyani [email protected] Fata Asyrofi Yahya [email protected] Rihab Wit Daryono [email protected] Titis Thoriquttyas [email protected]
This research explores the influence of self-competence and boarding school regulations on character development through Islamic boarding school culture. The probability sampling method was used to collect data from 42 PPTQ Al-Muqorrobin students. The data was collected using questionnaires that employ a Likert scale with 4 answer choices. After that, a PLS-SEM analysis was conducted to test the model concepts. The analysis found that manners and ethics were the main indicators of student character success, contributing to 98.70%. The results also showed that Islamic boarding school regulations and culture positively influence students' character formation. Self-competences, both academic and social, also have a significant influence. This finding means that increased self-efficacy makes students more independent and confident in facing challenges. Progress increases academic motivation and self-confidence, while social skills strengthen positive interactions and create empathy and tolerance attitudes. It shows that increasing student self-efficacy has individual benefits and contributes to students’ character development.
2024-07-03T09:29:54+07:00 Copyright (c) 2024 Mamik Setyani, Fata Asyrofi Yahya, Rihab Wit Daryono, Titis Thoriquttyas
