Abstract

This study aims to analyze language errors found in political news published in newspapers. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, this study identifies and classifies various types of language errors, including grammatical errors, spelling errors, and terminology usage. The sample consists of the September-October 2024 edition of the Jawa Pos newspaper. Data were collected through document studies and analyzed using content analysis techniques. The results of the study indicate that common language errors are influenced by factors such as time pressure, lack of understanding of language rules, and editorial conditions.
