Motivasi Mahasiswa dalam Memanfaatkan Layanan Akhir Pekan Sebagai Inovasi Layanan di Perpustakaan IAIN Pekalongan

Abstract
Weekend service is service on Saturdays and Sundays organized by IAIN Pekalongan Library. The results of research, note that there are two factors that motivates students utilizing the weekend services. These factors are. intrinsic factor caused by willpower oneself to improve achievement and quality yourself, adding insight and find serenity. And extrinsic factors are: first, the library which includes the hospitality of the officer, the officer's promptness in providing service, library collections, information retrieval, and the atmosphere of the library on the weekend service. Second, it is the duty of the courses from lectures, as the primary cause. students utilize the service on weekends. The third factor is the friends is often a visit to the library. The last factor is the parents.
Students working on a final project or task specific courses given by lectures, it turns out that most do not have the ability regarding literacy information, so a form of innovation in library services development IAIN Pekalongan directed at matters relating to information literacy, information literacy skills such as training, guidance of literature searches, online research skills, and manage research references.
Abstrak
Layanan akhir pekan merupakan layanan pada hari Sabtu dan Minggu yang diselenggarakan oleh Perpustakaan IAIN Pekalongan. Dari hasil penelitian, diketahui bahwa ada dua faktor yang menjadi motivasi mahasiswa memanfaatkan jasa layanan akhir pekan tersebut. Faktor tersebut yaitu faktor intrinsik yang disebabkan oleh kemauan diri untuk meningkatkan prestasi dan kualitas diri, menambah wawasan dan mencari ketenangan. Dan faktor ekstrinsik yaitu: pertama, faktor perpustakaan yang meliputi keramahan petugas, kesigapan petugas dalam memberikan layanan, koleksi perpustakaan, penelusuran informasi, dan suasana perpustakaan pada layanan akhir pekan. Kedua, adalah tugas mata kuliah dari dosen, sebagai penyebab utama. mahasiswa memanfaatkan layanan pada akhir pekan. Ketiga adalah faktor terman yang sering berkunjung ke perpustakaan. Faktor terakhir adalah orang tua.
Mahasiswa yang mengerjakan tugas akhir maupun yang mengerjakan tugas mata kuliah tertentu yang diberikan oleh dosen, ternyata sebagian besar belum mempunyai kemampuan mengenai literasi informasi, sehingga wujud inovasi pengembangan layanan di Perpustakaan IAIN Pekalongan diarahkan pada hal yang berkaitan dengan literasi informasi, seperti pelatihan literasi informasi skill, bimbingan penelusuran literatur, online research skill, dan mengelola referensi riset.
