Teknologi informasi dan komunikasi menjadi pengaruh utama terjadinya perubahan pada setiap lini kehidupan masyarakat. Perpustakaan yang merupakan lembaga sosial harus mengikuti perubahan tersebut, yaitu dengan melakukan digitalisasi koleksi perpustakaan. Mewujudkan perpustakan digital ialah dengan tujuan untuk memberikan kemudahan dalam penyebaran informasi, penyimpanan informasi, dan kemudahan pengguna dalam mengakses informasi. Namun, untuk membangun perpustakaan digital bukanlah perkara yang mudah, banyak tantangan yang harus dijawab oleh pengelola perpustakaan terutama mengenai hak atas kekayaan intelektual. Makalah ini bertujuan untuk membahas tantangan dalam membangun perpustakaan digital tersebut, berdasarkan literatur dan beberapa hasil penelitian tentang perpustakaan digital.References
