Abstract

Abstract: This research examines students' digital literacy practices in developing academic literacy while they are studying with online, offline, or blended methods. It uses a qualitative method with a case study approach to explore experiences, feelings, and also the development of certain phenomena during the Covid 19 pandemic occured. The main data collection was obtained from observations, documents, in-depth interviews with informants who had used UIN Walisongo central library information services, and students’written asignments. The results show that they have expertise in digital literacy or are called literate in using tools or applications used in lectures. They don't find it difficult to adapt to all tools. Evidently, they can dig up sources of scientific information provided by libraries or other sources. Student expertise in mastering digital literacy is crucial to have academic literacy skills. This is very justified because the strengthening of academic literacy skills is supported by mastery of digital literacy. However, their academic literacy related to scientific writing skills is problematic. This is indicated by the tendency of the percentage of similarity check results to be divided into two major groups, namely the range of 0 to 7% and 47 to 99%.
