El-Barka Journal of Islamic Economics and Business

El Barka: Journal of Islamic Economics and Business (E-ISSN: 2657-1862) is a peer-reviewed scholarly journal published semiannually by the Faculty of Islamic Economics and Business, Universitas Islam Negeri (UIN) Kiai Ageng Muhammad Besari Ponorogo (formerly Institut Agama Islam Negeri [IAIN] Ponorogo), Indonesia. The journal is published in collaboration with the Centre of Islamic Economics Studies (CIES), the Economics and Finance Lecturers Association of Infrastructure University Kuala Lumpur (IUKL), the Association of Islamic Economics Lecturers (Asosiasi Dosen Ekonomi Syariah, ADESy), and the Indonesian Association of Islamic Economists (Ikatan Ahli Ekonomi Islam Indonesia, IAEI).

El Barka welcomes original, previously unpublished manuscripts in the fields of economics, Islamic economics, and business. The journal accepts conceptual papers, empirical research articles, case studies, theoretical applications, critical analyses, and literature reviews.

Accreditation

El Barka has been accredited as a scientific journal at SINTA 3 by the Directorate General of Higher Education, Research, and Technology, Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia, pursuant to Decree No. 79/E/KPT/2023, dated 11 May 2023, covering Volume 5, Issue 1 (2022) through Volume 9, Issue 2 (2026). The journal is currently undergoing re-accreditation for the subsequent period.
