About the Journal
Etihad: Journal of Islamic Banking and Finance is a peer-reviewed journal published twice a year (June and December) by UIN Kiai Ageng Muhammad Besari Ponorogo. This journal serves as a platform for academics, researchers, practitioners, and policymakers to share insights, innovations, and research findings related to Islamic banking and finance.
Etihad publishes original research articles, conceptual papers, reviews, and case studies employing either quantitative or qualitative approaches. The journal focuses on the study and development of Islamic financial systems and institutions — both banking and non-bank — as well as the integration of Islamic social finance instruments into the broader economic framework.
The scope of Etihad includes, but is not limited to, the following topics:
