This journal first published in 2020 to facilitate the publication of research and articles. MA'ALIM accepts original scientific writings that have never been published in the field of Islamic education, Islamic boarding system, and other themes on Islamic education studies, including conceptual thoughts, research reports, case reports, application of theory, critical studies, and literature reviews. The Journal issued biannually in June and December. MA'ALIM: Jurnal Pendidikan Islam is accredited by Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology, Republic of Indonesia on June 2021 (Valid until Vol. 6 No. 2 2025).
