Peer Review Process

The peer review process in ELTALL Journal is designed to ensure the publication of high-quality, scholarly research in the fields of English language teaching, applied linguistics, and literature. The process follows rigorous academic standards and involves multiple stages of evaluation.

Initial Screening
Upon submission, each manuscript undergoes an initial review by the editorial team. This preliminary assessment evaluates the relevance of the content, alignment with the journal's focus, and the robustness of the research methodology. Manuscripts that meet the journal's standards proceed to the next stage, while those that do not may be rejected or returned for revision.

Blind Peer Review
Manuscripts passing the initial screening are subjected to a blind peer-review process, ensuring impartiality and academic integrity. Each article is assigned to at least two independent reviewers from the ELTALL Reviewer Board. Reviewers evaluate the manuscript based on originality, clarity, methodological rigor, and contribution to the field. Their feedback includes critical assessments and suggestions for improvement.

Author Revision
Once the review process is complete, authors receive anonymized feedback and are required to revise their manuscripts accordingly. Authors must address all comments and suggestions provided by the reviewers, ensuring that their revised manuscripts align with ELTALL's scholarly standards.

Editorial Board Evaluation
After revision, the manuscript is reassessed by the editorial board. The board evaluates the effectiveness of the revisions and determines whether the article meets the journal’s publication criteria. Additional modifications may be requested at this stage.

Final Decision and Publication
In a final editorial board meeting, a collective decision is made regarding the acceptance or rejection of the manuscript. The final decision is then communicated to the author. Accepted manuscripts proceed to the publication stage, where they are formatted and prepared for inclusion in the upcoming journal issue.

ELTALL Journal is committed to maintaining a fair, transparent, and rigorous peer review process to uphold academic excellence and contribute meaningfully to the field of English language teaching, applied linguistics, and literature.
