Journal of Islamic Economics
All manuscripts submitted to this journal must follow the focus and scope, and author guidelines of this journal. The submitted manuscripts must address scientific merit or novelty appropriate to the focus and scope. All manuscripts must be free from plagiarism contents. All authors are suggested to use plagiarism detection software to do the similarity checking. Editors check the plagiarism detection of articles in this journal by using Turnitin software.
The research article submitted to this journal will be peer-reviewed by at least 2 (two) expert reviewers. The reviewers give scientific valuable comments improving the contents of the manuscript.
Editors will make the final decision of article acceptance according to the reviewer's comments. Publication of accepted articles, including the sequence of published articles, will be made by Editor in Chief by considering the sequence of accepted date and geographical distribution of authors and a thematic issue.
Journal of Islamic Economics upholds the standards of double-blind peer review while streamlining the process. Key characteristics of the peer review process for all research articles published in the journal are outlined below:
Peer review of referred papers:
Editors of the Journal of Islamic Economics will promptly decide whether to accept, reject, or request revisions for referred papers based on the reviews and editorial insights from supporting journals. Editors also have the option to seek additional reviews when necessary. Authors will be advised when Editors decide that further review is required. The editor will first review submitted articles to ensure adherence to the topic and writing style guidelines. All manuscripts undergo double-blind peer review, with both reviewer and author identities remaining confidential throughout the review to maintain academic excellence.

The steps from point number 1 to 5 constitute one round of the peer-review process. The editor or editorial board evaluates the feedback provided by the peer reviewers and decides. The following are the most common decisions:
