Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bentuk urutan pola elemen pada perilaku pencarian informasi dan untuk mengetahui elemen yang dominan digunakan pada pola perilaku pencarian informasi Mahasiswa Berprestasi Universitas Negeri Malang tahun 2019 dalam menelusuri sumber informasi untuk sumber belajar perkuliahan dan rujukan dalam pembuatan karya. Sebanyak delapan belas mahasiswa anggota finalis ajang mahasiswa berprestasi Universitas Negeri Malang sebagai informan penelitian. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa terdapat sembilan pola perilaku pencarian informasi yang berbeda dan terdapat delapan elemen yang dominan digunakan pada pola perilaku pencarian informasi Mahasiswa Berprestasi Universitas Negeri Malang tahun 2019 dalam menelusuri sumber informasi untuk sumber belajar perkuliahan dan rujukan dalam pembuatan karya, dimana perilaku pencarian informasi mahasiswa berprestasi tersebut ditunjang oleh peran Perpustakaan Perguruan tinggi Universitas Negeri Malang.
