Conflict of Interest

Qaulan: Journal of Islamic Communication is committed to maintaining transparency, objectivity, and integrity throughout the publication process. All authors, editors, and reviewers are required to disclose any potential conflicts of interest that could influence, or be perceived to influence, their professional judgment, research findings, or publication decisions.

A conflict of interest may arise from financial, professional, institutional, personal, or other relationships that could compromise the impartiality of research, peer review, or editorial decisions.

Authors must disclose any actual or potential conflicts of interest related to their submitted manuscripts. If no conflicts of interest exist, authors must include a statement declaring that there are no conflicts of interest.

Editors must not participate in editorial decisions concerning manuscripts in which they have a conflict of interest, including manuscripts authored by themselves, family members, colleagues, or individuals with whom they have a close professional or personal relationship. Such manuscripts must be handled independently by another editor to ensure an impartial editorial process.

Reviewers must disclose any actual or potential conflicts of interest before accepting a review assignment. Reviewers must decline to review manuscripts if personal, professional, institutional, or financial relationships could affect their objectivity.

All disclosed conflicts of interest will be evaluated by the editorial team, and appropriate measures will be taken to safeguard the fairness, transparency, and integrity of the publication process.

Failure to disclose a relevant conflict of interest may result in editorial action in accordance with the journal's publication ethics policies.
