Vol. 4 No. 2 (2023): Qaulan: Journal of Islamic Communication

Qaulan: Journal of Islamic Communication publishes scholarly articles presenting original research in the fields of Islamic communication, da‘wah studies, interpersonal communication, journalism, digital media, and contemporary Islamic discourse. Volume 4, Number 2 features 7 original research articles that explore a range of contemporary issues, including speech styles in Islamic da‘wah, the dynamics of da‘wah in Southeast Asia in the digital era, interpersonal communication in the recovery efforts of students with mental health challenges, media coverage of sexual violence cases at Islamic boarding schools, Qatar’s Islamic proselytizing methods during the 2022 FIFA World Cup, the da‘wah rhetoric of Habib Husein Ja’far Alhadar on YouTube, and organizational communication patterns in overcoming internal conflicts.

All articles in this issue were authored and co-authored by 12 scholars from 5 academic institutions in Indonesia. The contributors represent diverse higher education institutions, including Universitas Soerjo Ngawi, UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, UIN Raden Mas Said Surakarta, UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta, and IAIN Ponorogo.
