Focus and Scope
Indonesian Engagement Journal (InEJ) is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal published biannually in June and December by the Institute for Research and Community Services (Lembaga Penelitian dan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat – LPPM) of UIN Kiai Ageng Muhammad Besari Ponorogo, Indonesia. The journal is dedicated to publishing high-quality scholarly articles that present the results of community service and engagement activities, with a particular emphasis on participatory and empowerment-based approaches.
The primary focus of InEJ is on initiatives that aim to empower communities, promote social transformation, and contribute to sustainable development goals (SDGs). The journal serves as a platform for academics, researchers, practitioners, and community development agents to share insights, strategies, and innovative practices in the field of community engagement.
