PEMBERDAYAAN MASYARAKAT BERBASIS ASSET-BASED COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT MELALUI SOSIALISASI FERMENTASI PAKAN TERNAK

Sebagian besar warga Dusun Jurugan, Desa Karangpatihan, Kecamatan Pulung, Kabupaten Ponorogo menggantungkan penghidupan pada sektor peternakan, namun masih banyak yang belum mengetahui cara memanfaatkan limbah pertanian lokal sebagai pakan alternatif melalui fermentasi. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan mengkaji efektivitas sosialisasi fermentasi pakan ternak dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan peternak berbasis pendekatan Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD). Kegiatan dilaksanakan secara partisipatif melalui lima tahap: inkulturasi, discovery, design, define, dan refleksi yang mencakup sosialisasi, demonstrasi, dan praktik langsung pembuatan pakan fermentasi dari bahan lokal seperti jerami padi, dedak, dan kulit singkong. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan peternak dalam mengolah pakan fermentasi secara mandiri, disertai antusiasme tinggi dari peserta. Kegiatan ini berkontribusi pada kemandirian peternak, efisiensi biaya pakan, dan pemanfaatan limbah pertanian yang lebih berkelanjutan
