Abstract

Abstrak: Faham aswaja yang dikembangkan oleh NU memiliki lima karakteristik; tawassut}, tas>muh}, tawa>zun, ta’a>dul dan amr ma’ru>f nahy ”˜an munkar. Tulisan ini ingin memotret lebih dekat hasil fatwa para kiai NU tentang relasi muslim dengan non muslim berdasarkan lima karakteristik di atas. Fatwa-fatwa NU tentang relasi Muslim dengan Non-Muslim dapat diklasifikasikan pada dua tipologi; fatwa tentang akidah dan fatwa tentang mu”˜amalah, dengan karakteristik yang berbeda. fatwa-fatwa para kiai NU terkait dengan persoalan yang dikategorikan sebagai ritual-akidah-teologis wataknya cenderung eksklusif. Sedangkan fatwa-fatwa NU tentang mu’amalah bersifat inklusif.
