Abstract
Abstrak: Penyatuan kalender Islam selama ini masih terbatas dalam dambaan umat Islam. Sudah banyak usaha yang dilakukan dalam rangka mewujudkan cita-cita penyatuan. Namun sampai saat ini cita-cita tersebut belum juga terwujud. Namun tidak sepantasnya pula kita putus asa dalam mencari solusi untuk mewujudkan cita-cita tersebut demi tegaknya shi’a>r Islam yang rahmatan li al-‘a>lami>n. Salah satu metode terbaru yang diharapkan bisa menjadi solusi yang menjembatani penyatuan kalender Islam adalah Ru’yat Qabl al-Ghuru>b dengan teknik Astrofotografi. Teknik ru’yat yang berbasis teknologi ini bisa menyajikan kesamaan antara data menurut perhitungan dengan data lapangan. Kata kunci: Qabl al-Ghuru>b, Ijtima>’, Astrofotografi.
