Become Reviewers
The INVEST Journal of Sharia and Economic Law welcomes scientists and researchers to participate as peer reviewers of articles being considered for publication in the journal. The peer-review process is important because it guarantees high-quality articles are published, which in turn assures the success of the INVEST Journal.
Job Description
Peer reviewers were internet-based, part-time volunteers whose working language was English. Their main task is to read and then recommend whether a manuscript should be accepted, as is accepted with revision or outright rejected. To that end, peer reviewers will be asked to provide detailed, constructive comments that are substantiated by references where possible, which will help editors in their publication decisions and with their author interactions. Reviewers must also be on alert for any issues related to author misconduct, such as plagiarism, and report these to the editors.

Requirements
- Doctoral degree or above.
- Academic position at a university or relevant organization.
- Fluency in English (academic and professional).
- Strong interest and expertise in scholarly journals.
- Ability to review manuscripts with speed and accuracy.
Responsibilities
Peer reviewers are key figures in a journal’s success. Reviewers’ feedback directly influences the acceptance or rejection of an article, and their role in maintaining quality is paramount. Reviewers are expected to evaluate submissions based on the following criteria.
- Relevance and originality of the manuscript in relation to the journal’s aims and scope.
- Detailed Examination of the Purpose and Objectives of the Articles
- Accuracy of conclusions, recommendations, and citations of up-to-date references.
- Adherence of the manuscript to author guidelines and journal policies.
- Identification of plagiarism or ethical concerns, if any.
- Suggestions on manuscript structure and clarity, with no limit on the level of constructive feedback.
Agreement
The acceptance of the following terms and conditions confirms your appointment as a peer reviewer for INVEST Journal:
- Your appointment was initially for two years.
- You agree to adhere to the journal’s policies, ethical codes, and best practices, which may evolve over time.
- You consent to display your name and photograph on your journal’s website and materials.
Termination
It is expected that you will complete your term, as you agree. However, this agreement may be terminated under the following conditions:
- Lack of mutual understanding or alignment with the journal’s policies.
- Repeatedly unsatisfactory performance of assigned tasks.

The applications are processed immediately and acknowledged via email upon submission. You will be notified of acceptance or rejection within two weeks.
