Editorial Roles
The editorial process at the Invest Journal of Sharia & Economic Law involves distinct but collaborative roles between the Reviewers, Associate Editors (AE), and the Editor-in-Chief (EIC), ensuring the quality and integrity of its publications.
1. Reviewer
Reviewers were experienced scholars in their respective fields, selected based on their academic qualifications, publication track records, and recognized affiliations. Their primary role was to critically evaluate the scientific contribution, research methodology, and clarity of the manuscript.
- The reviewers provided constructive feedback to the authors to improve their manuscripts.
- They also reassessed revisions (Review Round 2) and submitted final recommendations to the AE.
2. Associate Editor (AE)
The AE is responsible for managing the peer-review process and ensuring that ethical and quality standards are met.
- They conducted an initial assessment of the manuscript for thematic alignment and scientific validity.
- AEs appoint reviewers, oversee interactions between reviewers and authors, and validate the revisions.
- After all criteria are fulfilled, they recommend the acceptance or rejection of the EIC.
3. Editor-in-Chief (EIC)
The EIC supervises the overall editorial process, from the initial assessment to the final decision.
- They screened the manuscripts for thematic relevance and scientific contribution.
- The EIC appoints AEs and oversees their management of the peer review process.
- Based on the AE and reviewer recommendations, the EIC makes the final decision on whether to accept or reject the manuscript.
