Complaints and Appeals Policy
Cendekia: Jurnal Kependidikan dan Kemasyarakatan is committed to handling complaints and appeals fairly, transparently, and promptly.
Authors may appeal an editorial decision when they believe that the decision resulted from a significant factual misunderstanding, a procedural irregularity, or an inappropriate interpretation of the manuscript. Appeals must provide a clear explanation and relevant supporting evidence.
Disagreement with a decision alone does not guarantee reconsideration. The editor will assess the grounds for the appeal and may seek independent advice from another editor or qualified expert when appropriate. The outcome of the appeal will be communicated to the corresponding author.
Complaints concerning editorial conduct, peer review, publication procedures, or journal management may be submitted to the editorial office. Complaints involving the editor-in-chief should be directed to the publisher or an appropriate independent institutional representative.
All complaints and appeals will be assessed impartially, and no individual should experience retaliation for raising a concern in good faith. The journal will maintain appropriate records of the process and its outcome.
