Conflict of Interest Policy
Cendekia: Jurnal Kependidikan dan Kemasyarakatan requires authors, editors, reviewers, and other parties involved in the publication process to disclose any actual or potential conflicts of interest that could influence, or reasonably be perceived to influence, their professional judgment.
Conflicts of interest may arise from financial relationships, employment, institutional affiliations, personal relationships, academic competition, or other professional interests.
Authors must disclose relevant competing interests and sources of funding when submitting a manuscript. If no competing interests exist, authors should explicitly declare that there are none.
Editors must disclose relevant conflicts and withdraw from editorial handling or decision-making when their impartiality may be compromised. The manuscript will be assigned to an appropriate independent editor where necessary.
Reviewers must inform the editor of any conflict before accepting a review assignment and decline the assignment when the conflict prevents an objective assessment.
The editorial team will evaluate disclosures and determine whether additional safeguards, reassignment, or public disclosure in the published article is necessary.
Failure to disclose a material conflict of interest may result in further editorial action in accordance with the journal’s publication ethics policies.
