PEMANFAATAN TANAMAN LOKAL SEBAGAI PAKAN TERNAK FERMENTASI DI DESA KAPURAN KABUPATEN PONOROGO

Pemeliharaan ternak merupakan pekerjaan sambilan bagi sebagian masyarakat di Desa Kapuran. Salah satu permasalahan utama yang dihadapi adalah keterbatasan ketersediaan pakan, terutama pada musim kemarau. Program pengabdian ini bertujuan memberikan solusi terhadap ketahanan pakan ternak sekaligus mendorong percepatan pertumbuhan hewan melalui inovasi pakan fermentasi berbasis potensi lokal. Kegiatan dilaksanakan melalui tiga tahap, yaitu sosialisasi dan penyuluhan kepada masyarakat, pelatihan pembuatan pakan fermentasi, serta evaluasi hasil kegiatan. Metode yang digunakan adalah Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) dengan tahapan discovery (penemuan), dream (perencanaan mimpi), design (perancangan), define (penetapan), dan destiny (monitoring dan evaluasi). Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan meningkatnya kesadaran masyarakat terhadap potensi bahan pakan lokal, serta kemampuan peternak dalam memproduksi pakan fermentasi untuk mengatasi kelangkaan pakan. Evaluasi akhir menunjukkan tiga peserta telah menerapkan teknik fermentasi secara mandiri dalam aktivitas beternak sehari-hari. Meskipun belum seluruh peternak mengadopsi metode ini, kegiatan pengabdian terbukti efektif meningkatkan literasi pakan alternatif dan mendorong kemandirian peternak di Desa Kapuran.

Being an open accessed journal and disseminating articles for free under the Creative Commons license term mentioned, author(s) aware that InEJ entitles the author(s) to no royalties or other fees.
7. Miscellaneous
