PEMETAAN PARTISIPATIF KOMODITAS PERTANIAN DAN PERKEBUNAN UNTUK PENYEDIAAN DATA SPASIAL SERTA PENGUATAN KAPASITAS MASYARAKAT

Desa Jubung, yang terletak di Kecamatan Sukorambi, Kabupaten Jember, memiliki berbagai komoditas pertanian dan perkebunan. Namun, penyebaran spasial komoditas tersebut belum tercatat, sehingga membatasi kemampuan masyarakat dalam merencanakan penggunaan lahan dan pengelolaan sumber daya. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan peta yang akurat mengenai komoditas pertanian dan perkebunan, serta meningkatkan kemampuan masyarakat dalam mengelola data spasial. Metode yang digunakan adalah pemetaan partisipatif, yang melibatkan aparat desa melalui wawancara, diskusi kelompok terarah, serta pengumpulan data di lapangan dengan menggunakan aplikasi Epicollect 5. Validasi data dilakukan melalui survei lapangan dan verifikasi yang melibatkan partisipasi masyarakat, sehingga menghasilkan peta tematik yang menunjukkan distribusi berbagai komoditas pertanian dan perkebunan di Desa Jubung. Hasil kegiatan tersebut menunjukkan bahwa potensi pertanian di Desa Jubung didominasi oleh komoditas pangan, khususnya Padi, yang didukung oleh Jagung, Pisang, Sengon, serta beberapa jenis hortikultura dan perkebunan. Desa Jubung memiliki fondasi yang solid dalam ketahanan pangan, namun masih ada peluang besar untuk mengembangkan komoditas bernilai ekonomi yang lebih tinggi. Kegiatan ini tidak hanya menghasilkan data spasial terbaru, tetapi juga meningkatkan kemampuan dan kesadaran masyarakat dalam menggunakan pemetaan sebagai landasan pengambilan keputusan. Peta yang dihasilkan diharapkan dapat dimasukkan ke dalam dokumen perencanaan pembangunan desa dan diperbarui secara berkala sebagai alat strategis untuk mendukung pemantauan dan keberlanjutan program.
