We are excited to introduce Volume 1, Number 1 (2021) of the INVEST Journal of Sharia & Economic Law, inaugurating a platform for insightful research on Islamic economics, legal frameworks, and business ethics. This issue features diverse topics, including the role of Islamic economics in enhancing human resource competitiveness, dispute resolution in franchise agreements, and the entrepreneurial spirit of Gontor santri in developing Islamic business practices. Additionally, it explores the implementation of DSN-MUI fatwas in life insurance, challenges in profit-sharing agreements, the application of Total Quality Management in productive waqf, and fiqh perspectives on agricultural land agreements.
