MEMBANGUN GENERASI TANGGUH BENCANA MELALUI SEMINAR INTERAKTIF: KOLABORASI INDONESIA–THAILAND DALAM PENDIDIKAN PENGURANGAN RISIKO BENCANA

Kawasan Asia Tenggara merupakan salah satu wilayah dengan tingkat kerentanan bencana yang tinggi akibat paparan terhadap gempa bumi, tsunami, banjir, badai tropis, serta dampak perubahan iklim. Kondisi tersebut menuntut penguatan kapasitas masyarakat sejak usia sekolah melalui pendidikan pengurangan risiko bencana (Disaster Risk Reduction/DRR). Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan implementasi program pengabdian internasional yang dilaksanakan oleh Program Studi Pendidikan Geografi Universitas Jember bekerja sama dengan Prateep Vhittaya School, Narathiwat, Thailand Selatan, dalam mendukung penguatan literasi kebencanaan siswa sekolah menengah atas. Program dilaksanakan melalui seminar interaktif yang mencakup ice breaking, penyampaian materi tentang konsep dasar DRR, karakteristik bencana di Asia Tenggara, langkah-langkah kesiapsiagaan, serta diskusi interaktif antara narasumber dan peserta. Pelaksanaan kegiatan menggunakan pendekatan pendidikan partisipatif yang menekankan pertukaran pengalaman dan pengetahuan kebencanaan antara Indonesia dan Thailand. Melalui kegiatan tersebut, siswa memperoleh pemahaman mengenai konsep bahaya, kerentanan, risiko, ketangguhan, serta tindakan kesiapsiagaan sebelum, saat, dan setelah bencana. Selain mendukung penguatan literasi kebencanaan peserta, kegiatan ini memperluas ruang kolaborasi akademik antara Indonesia dan Thailand sebagai bagian dari internasionalisasi Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi. Kegiatan ini juga berkontribusi terhadap pencapaian Tujuan Pembangunan Berkelanjutan (SDGs), khususnya SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities), dan SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals).

Being an open accessed journal and disseminating articles for free under the Creative Commons license term mentioned, author(s) aware that InEJ entitles the author(s) to no royalties or other fees.
7. Miscellaneous
