Copyright and Licensing
Authors retain copyright of their published works, while granting the journal the rights necessary to publish and disseminate the articles in accordance with the journal's publication policies and the applicable license.
The license governs the permitted use of the published material; it does not transfer copyright ownership to the journal. Authors remain responsible for ensuring that their submissions do not infringe third-party rights and that any third-party material included in an article is appropriately credited and used with the necessary permissions.
Third-party materials may be subject to separate copyright or licensing terms. The CC BY-NC 4.0 license should not be assumed to apply to such materials unless the relevant rights have been established.
Commercial Use
Any use of an article or its material for commercial purposes that is not permitted under the CC BY-NC 4.0 license requires prior authorization from the relevant rights holder. Requests concerning commercial reuse should be directed to the copyright holder or the IJouGS editorial team, as appropriate.
License Transparency
IJouGS ensures that the applicable license is clearly identified on each published article's webpage and, where applicable, within the full-text article. Authors and readers are encouraged to review the license terms before reusing, distributing, translating, or adapting published material.
