Allegation of Research Misconduct

The Indonesian Journal of Gender Studies (IJouGS) is committed to maintaining research integrity and ethical standards in scholarly publishing. The journal takes allegations of research misconduct seriously and handles them fairly, confidentially, and objectively.

Research misconduct includes, but is not limited to, fabrication or falsification of data, plagiarism, inappropriate authorship practices, duplicate publication, citation manipulation, undisclosed conflicts of interest, and violations of research ethics.

Anyone who suspects research misconduct in a manuscript submitted to or published in IJouGS may report the concern to the editorial team through the journal's official contact channels. Reports should include a clear explanation and supporting evidence, where available. Anonymous reports may be considered if sufficient information is provided for assessment.

The editorial team will evaluate the allegation, request explanations or additional evidence when necessary, and consult relevant experts or institutions where appropriate. Individuals concerned will be given a reasonable opportunity to respond before a decision is made, where applicable.

Depending on the findings, the journal may reject a manuscript, request corrections, issue an expression of concern, retract a published article, or refer the matter to the relevant institution. All actions will be taken in accordance with the journal's publication ethics and correction and retraction policies.

IJouGS is committed to protecting the integrity of the scholarly record while ensuring fair treatment and confidentiality for all parties involved.
