Post Publication Discussion

Post-Publication Discussion

The Indonesian Journal of Gender Studies (IJouGS) encourages constructive scholarly discussion of articles published in the journal to promote academic dialogue, critical engagement, and the advancement of gender studies.

Readers and researchers may submit comments, questions, or evidence-based critiques concerning the methodology, interpretation, findings, or theoretical contributions of published articles. All communications must be scholarly, respectful, relevant to the publication, and supported by appropriate evidence where necessary.

Submissions for post-publication discussion should be directed to the IJouGS Editorial Team through the journal's official contact channels. The editorial team will assess their relevance, academic merit, and compliance with publication ethics before determining whether they are suitable for publication or further action.

Where appropriate, the journal may invite the original authors to respond to substantive comments. Any published discussion and response must follow the journal's editorial standards and applicable ethical requirements.

If a post-publication discussion raises credible concerns about research integrity, errors, or the reliability of a published article, IJouGS will assess the matter in accordance with its Allegation of Research Misconduct and Correction and Retraction policies.

The journal reserves the right to decline comments that are irrelevant, defamatory, unsupported, or inconsistent with scholarly standards. All post-publication discussions are subject to editorial review and do not automatically result in a correction or retraction.
